Hair Care Tips

Tip #1:

Use cold water to Shampoo and Condition your hair before wearing or styling your hair. Doing so will  make sure it is clean and suitable to touch your skin. Use sulfate free shampoos to ensure your hair does not become too dry. If sulfates are used be sure to follow up with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Wash and condition your hair weekly while it is in use.

Tip #2:

Before styling your hair add a leave in conditioner to ensure your hair remains conditioned until your next wash day. If you experience build up use a clarifying shampoo and follow up with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.

Tip #3: Wash your hair after swimming, spa, exercise, sweating etc. Any excess oil, sweat, or dirt will cause the hair to tangle. Use a wide tooth comb to detangle to decrease breakage.

Tip #4:

Keep in mind any excessive heat may cause damage. Use a heat serum/protectant to protect your strands. Try to avoid blow drying, opt for air drying instead to protect the hair from heat damage which is not reversible.

Tip #5:

Your Raw hair can be bleached to #613 or #60, and your Virgin hair can be bleached to #27. Deep condition the hair after bleaching or applying dye to reduce breakage and dryness. We recommend consulting and hiring a professional to do these processes for you.
